R. Brent Cook Funeral Service Licensee, LLC is a funeral service practice dedicated to service beyond expectation at a reasonable price.
Today, many families are choosing simple burial or cremation services. Why? Many do not wish to burden themselves with the high cost of traditional funeral expenses. Many others prefer the beautiful simplicity of cremation and the many options it offers. A simple graveside service without long periods of visitation meet the needs of some families. Others desire a traditional funeral in a church but find the cost prohibitive.
It is the goal of our practice to provide grieving families with the type of service which will be most meaningful to them without causing a financial hardship.

President & Funeral Director
Brent has over thirty years of experience in funeral service across the United States and has managed some the largest and most prestigious funeral homes in the country.
Born in Anderson, SC, Brent is a graduate of Washington & Lee University in Lexington, VA, Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, TX and Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, TN.
Brent served as a physician in the US Army. After leaving active duty and the full time practice of medicine, he moved to Elm City, NC and is fulfilling his life-long dream of owning and operating a funeral service practice providing dignified, compassionate, and affordable funeral and cremation services.
